Beabadoobee Loveworm album review

Well if you don’t know beabadoobee she Started to gain a following for her homemade bedroom pop. Using simple production and lyrics to give the listener a more Intimate experience. If you haven’t heard of her I would recommend listening to her but today I am here to review her newest album Loveworm.

This album first listen was another experience that I am glad that happened not saying it’s my favorite album of all time but I have had it on replay since it came out. Her simple lyrics and delivery help the listener be able to sit down and listen without having to over-thinking the project as a whole. Recently she has also released the album as a live/bedroom session and personally I listen to it more then the original. During the live version of the album you can clearly hear the emotion in her voice as she is accompanied by a smooth acoustic Guitar.

With the songs having simple themes like heartbreak and falling in love with your friend it’s almost too relatable. My favorite songs being Disappear, Apple Cider, and You Lie All The Time. With Disappear simply asking someone why their rush of love disappeared and just simply noticing that. While Apple Cider is her realizing that she likes her friend and that she just wants to give things a try. You Lie All The Time is her recognizing that the person she’s talking to lies a lot but instead of doing anything about it she stays because she couldn’t think of the thought of having them leave.

This album is simple not to where there was no effort but simple to that it works in its favor. It didn’t have to be crazy and out-going because it would bring this piece of art down. I almost want to call this one of my favorite albums of this year so far... no I am going to call this one of my favorite albums of this year. Please if you like bedroom pop, indie, Lo-Fi check this out I’m sure you’ll also fall in love with this album as I did.
